Valerian (BD 507) made by pressing valerian flowers and fermenting the juice, is one of the six Compost Preparations. We sell it separately because it is useful in warding off the negative effects of an early or late frost on blossoms and leaves.
Stir one unit into one gallon of warm water for 10 minutes. Apply immediately after stirring as a fine mist, just before daybreak.
